Hi, I'm Cecilia Grensner but feel free to call me Cicci like my friends and family do. I live with my husband in an old house on Hönö, which is an island outside Gothenburg, Sweden. I love the sea in all kinds of weather.

I started painting in 2014 and I spent about 3 years in Hönö konsthall in their painting classes. But soon I started to paint at home as much as I could.

How would you describe your work to someone seeing it for the first time?

I love painting and my purpose with my art is to spread joy and love with my art. I want the viewer of my art to feel my joy through the painting.

I often take uncountions things in my paintings and always paint from my heart and soul.

Since last year I have had my own studio which I call Gallery art from HEart located in harbour Hönö Klåva.

What and which artists have influenced your work?

I think my work has been influenced by some of our Swedish colorists, Ian Rusth, Emilia Linderholm and some more.

If you could collaborate with any artist past or present, who would you select and why?

If I could I would love to collaborate with Claude Monet, one of our biggest names of art in the world.

What can we expect to see from you in the future?

Cicci had her first solo exhibition at Galleri studio Animar, Stockholm 2019. Furthermore has been seen at Konst & Design mässan, Stenungsbaden, Stenungsund / 3 times 2017 - 2018.

Cicci also made her dream come true by starting painting classes with FUB Öckerö which gave her so much joy. Both children and adults with Down's syndrome and other diagnoses come and paint with her and meet friends, listen to music, and ofc ourse paint and have fun together.

It's amazing how art can bring so much joy and bring people together. The real meetings Cicci just loves them.

And now she's looking forward to what the future will bring...
