Everyone featured within this issue have given interesting, in-depth, honest accounts about themselves, their work, views and ideas. In addition to the amazing images of the work they have produced, which I know you the reader will enjoy and be inspired by.

The cover of this issue is by Alexandros Emmanouilidis, titled Birds Of Paradise.

“During the pandemic lockdown poetry, literature and music became sources of inspiration and creation in conditions of confinement and insecurity.

Concepts of the divine, mortality and survival in a new global normal were explored in order to express my artistic view.

The result was my project “Les Fleurs Du Mal” The title was inspired by Charles Baudelaire’ s “Flowers of Evil” poetry collection but in a totally different perspective.

“Birds of paradise” is a part of this project. As an exotic flower that follows the sun from dusk till down resembling the wings of a bird in a flight, symbolising joy, faith, freedom and optimism, I tried to display an individual creature of overwhelming beauty and divine aura.”
