We welcome submissions in all media formats, making it easier for you to showcase your unique talent. No matter where you are in the world or what language you speak, we invite you to apply and share your work with us! Plus, we want you to feel confident in your submission - if your piece isn’t selected, we will gladly provide a full refund. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your work seen and recognised! We welcome applications from artists at every stage of their journey. Whether you craft your art at the kitchen table or showcase it on global stages, we are eager to see your work. 2.What types of submissions are accepted?

We invite submissions in any media format. With an open theme, all works are eligible for consideration!

Capture a photograph of your work, whether using a professional camera or a mobile phone. We can enhance the images digitally if necessary. If your submission is a video, kindly take a screenshot that showcases the video content. We recommend images must be minimum 300 dpi. Please send the highest resolution image you have. Acceptable files to send are JPG, PNG and PDF.

3. Fee - £20

To begin, kindly process the payment for the open call by using the link provided on our website's open call page. Any problems with the payment please can in contact for help and support. We are based in the UK we accept submissions from every country.

4. Email confirmation and Application form

Once you have purchased the submission fee. You will receive an order number via email. After that, please fill out the form on our website. Your artist name, Email, Contact Number, Title of your work you would like to submit. We will also need no more than 115 words which is roughly 598 characters without spaces, talking about the piece you have submitted We also have a discover more section. Please can you confirm your web URL + Social media. You can also confirm your artworks price range. Please confirm your lowest and highest price for your artwork. Your artwork does not need to be for sale. Then click submit

5. Application confirmation

Once you have submitted your artwork via our form. We will then email you back. Normally before 7 working days. This will include your submitted artwork placed within our templates.

Please see examples below. We will be selecting 1A: Is an example of your artwork on a full page. We will be selecting 115 artworks, which will be featured on a full page. 1B: Is an example of your artwork on a double page spread We will be selecting 10 artworks for this

For an additional fee, you also have the option to increase the number of pages you have.

1C

Please note your artwork might be cropped to fit within our template. However for some artists we will offer an alternative. The alternative is we fit your image into our template, which shows the full artwork. However we add a dark green background behind.

6. What Happens next

Everyone who entered will be notified if they have been selected via email. The dates will be confirmed on the specific open call page. For open call 42 - Everyone who entered will be notified if they have been selected not before Sunday 18th January 2026 and the latest date will be Friday 20th February 2026

7. Final Confirmation

We will send you an email confirming your final layout. The magazine will be available online and in print. You can view all the past magazine archive here - www.artisttalkmagazine.com/magazine-archive. We will send you an email with more details about how you can order the print copy of the magazine. Please note this is not included in the original fee.

8. Online Gallery

Every selected artwork will also be included in our online gallery on our website

9. Social Media post

Every selected artist will also be included in x1 social media post.

10. Upgrade - blog post

Fee - £10 / blog post (you can redeem this throughout the year simply email us the wording and images you would like to post and we will then upload this to our blog. Please note your blog post does not need to be about the piece you submitted. It can be promoting something different.
