First you need to select, which open call you are interested in. A full list of the open calls can be found here - www.artisttalkmagazine.com/open-call-for-artists Everyone is welcome to apply. You do not need to be a professional working artist. We accept applications from all levels and experiences.

After you have decided the open call you are interested in. You will need to purchase an order number. On each open call they have a direct link to enter and purchase your submission fee. x1 Entry costs £15. Any problems with the payment please can in contact for help and support. We are based in the UK we accept submissions from every country.

Once you have purchased the submission fee. You will receive an order number

You will then need to email your submission to grantmilne@artisttalkmagazine.com You will need to include,

A. Your name

B. Order number

C. Your title of your submitted artwork

D. We will also need no more than 115 words which is roughly 598 characters without spaces, talking about the piece you have submitted. After this feel free to provide more text talking about your work and entry. However please make the entry paragraph highlighted.

E. We also have a discover more section. Please can you confirm your web URL + Social media. You can also confirm your artworks price range. Please confirm your lowest and highest price for your artwork. Your artwork does not need to be for sale.

If the image you are sending is a large file we recommend sending via www.wetransfer.com. Please note images must be minimum 300 dpi. Please send the highest resolution image you have. Acceptable files to send are JPG and PDF. Video format is also accepted. If you have any questions about the image guidelines please get in contact.

Once you have emailed your artwork and blurb. We will then email you back. Normally before 7 working days. This will include your submitted artwork placed within our templates. Please see examples below.

1A: Is an example of your artwork on one of the montage pages

We will be selecting a maximum of 416 artworks.

1B: Is an example of your artwork on a full page.

 We will be selecting 115 artworks, which will be featured on a full page.

1C: Is an example of your artwork on a double page spread

We will be selecting 10 artworks for this

Please note your artwork might be cropped to fit within our template. However for some artists we will offer an alternative. The alternative is we fit your image into our template, which shows the full artwork. However we duplicate the image behind add a blur and lower the opacity. Please see the example below.

Everyone who entered will be notified if they have been selected via email. The dates will be confirmed on the specific open call page

The magazine will be available online and in print. You can view all the past magazine archive here - www.artisttalkmagazine.com/magazine-archive

Every selected artwork will also be included in our online gallery, Please note all montage images will be shown first in the gallery. Then followed by the Full page and double page artworks in order. We will show each artwork in full and also include a full description. We will promote every selected single page or a double page on our social media

You can also have the following below. This is additional to the offer and is not compulsory to have.

Every selected artist will also get the option to make a blog post (you can redeem this throughout the year simply email us the wording and images you would like to post and we will then upload this to our blog. Please note your blog post does not need to be about the piece you submitted. It can be promoting something different.

You can also make a video post talking about the piece you submitted. Simply record a short video of you talking about the piece. We will then post this on our YouTube - www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ3uWTL4Nhzlkv7XI3AOH0Q
